Dr. Anneka Sutton
Dr. Anneka Sutton graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, where she built a strong foundation in veterinary medicine. She went on to complete her clinical training at Cornell University under the guidance of leading specialists.
Anneka lives in Elora with her husband, Philip, son, two dogs, ‘Dotty’ and ‘Honey’, and a cat, ‘Mogley’. She is both a friend and a neighbour to the community she serves.
Anneka has a special interest in wildlife conservation. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology and Conservation at the University of Guelph. She went on to participate in a field study on the population dynamics of grizzly bears in Alberta, as well as completed two conservation medicine courses in South Africa, which involved de-horning rhinos as an anti-poaching initiative.
Anneka became the owner of the Fergus Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2025 and plans to continue building the practice centred on compassion, trust, and community.
Dr. Victor Sprenger
Dr. Victor Sprenger graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010. In 2002, Victor graduated from the University of Guelph with a Master’s degree in Engineering, having completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering. Victor’s background in engineering has enhanced his approach to veterinary medicine, particularly in the operating room, where his true passion lies.
Victor lives in Milton with his wife Laura, his three children and their dog ‘Cookie.’ Victor and his family foster a lifestyle that values balance, sustainability and connection with nature. Victor and Laura operate an outdoor school program, called The Branches Experiential Learning Community, educating children on environmental stewardship and food security.
Dr. Sprenger joined the Fergus Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2025.
